view on the river and location close to city centre

Hotel looks like in 80s....totally forgotten and lacks refreshment....bathroom is a nightmare...all because there is no cash for investment

The reception staff all spoke English and were very helpful. The restaurant staff were very pleasant. The included breakfast was good.

We paid extra for a 'superior' room but it was very small and not very comfortable. We stayed for 4 nights and on one of the days the room was not cleaned at all and on other days only superficially. There was no shampoo/shower soap as the dispenser was broken. It should have been possible to replace it during the time we were there but this did not happen.

room and whole hotel was absolutely not clean!! Dust everywhere, carpet was not hoovered for ages. Breakfast was really poor, only the bread was eatable. We were glad to leave in the morning.

Buffet was good if basic. Unfortunately nearby baths were not working but the hotel cannot be responsible for that... nor for the river being somewhat odorous at times.

Superior room means air condioninng stand alone device, which is so noisy that anyway must be switched off during night - otherwise no chance to sleep. At breakfast rather poor choice (I.E. no fresh water, just juices). At dinner no menu, just buffet like soup and 1-2 main dishes, which are at medium level of good tast. Bathrooms looks like not renewed since 20 years. Balcony very dirty. No elevator.

One of receptionist is not friendly and not kind. Her talking is something like order to me e.g.guest. I came with a bike, and asked her for its safety depository, but answered to me to put it in front of hotel. Other German bikes are accepted in hotel garage. I finally got my bike accepted in the garage after talking to her again.
